My goal weight is 120 or 125, I have a long way to go. But I’m doing what needs to be done to get there.

GW: 135, but I wouldn't mind getting down to 130. I really just want to be a size 4ish again. I actually started my fitness regimen back in October at 160 lb. I've been taking it slowly with a low calorie deficit + higher protein diet--I want to lose body fat but retain muscle mass.
Checking in 7 months later!

3 pounds to go!!! I honestly thought I'd be at 135lbs by now, but apparently it's the last 10 pounds that's hardest to get rid of. I've given up on getting down to 130 because my body seems to be fighting it--I'm not going to resort to extreme dieting or exercise to get to to that weight. Feeling great!

Almost there! Loving my results so far, but I think I can push even further to 125. Last few weeks my nutrition has been much more in check so looking forward to seeing further results.

I used to be around 145 until I started taking prednisone, then I blew up lol. I've gone from a size 2x to large and still going down. I've lost weight before, but now I'm in a space that I am loving how I feel and the process that comes with a healthy lifestyle.

CW: 130.8 so just about a Lb away from original goal. So I’ve adjusted my goal to 120-125.

OK, I lied lol. I decided to try intermittant fasting, which some would call an an "extreme diet." It worked, though lolololol!

So, I'll probably hit goal weight this month. I'm not sure what I'll do when that happens. It's going to be hard to transition into maintainance mode.

So I’ve been doing my alternate water fasting since last Saturday. And I’ve lost so far 11lbs. I eat 3 days only from 12pm to 6pm and only eat healthy low calorie foods and my daily carb limit is 100. And then I do 4 days of water fasting. So far I haven’t been craving junk food like I thought I would. I just need to start exercising and find the time to.

A month later, I’m 3 lbs down at 125.4. Can’t believe I’m meeting my goal despite some set backs.

2nd GW: 125
Current: 125.4
New GW: 120. Want to get there by April or May.

I'm almost at 100lb lost (will reach by some point in June).

Once I get down to my goal weigh, I will re-evaluate. I'll probably need excess skin removal surgery. Sigh...should never have let it get that bad.

CW:245 down from 330..I gained 15lbs at the start of the pandemic and that was my turning point. I haven't revealed the glow up yet but I hope my family eats crow when they see me.

A year later....

CW: 199...blows my mind to say I'm in Onederland wearing sizes I haven't fit since high-school.
GW: 190lbs of pure muscle

I was attached to my thickness and let that define my womanhood. It is an adjustment to see myself without my "assets" but I find joy bc my overall health and xes life is awesome. I'll finally be revealing my progress to my family next month after 3 years!

Self love, self care & the rest will fall in place..blessings ladies.

I have to provide a less-than-exciting update. I unfortunately have been going through a lot of health issues and had to get major surgery. My weight was in the 180s up until my surgery in the beginning of the year which has bloated me up to 204. A lot of it is unfortunately water weight as well as some fat gain from food cravings and limited exercise due to working from home.

In August, I will be cleared to exercise. I also plan to consistently cook again starting next month because I unfortunately have had to eat out due to my low energy levels.

My initial goal is to lose 15 pounds by September.

Height: 5'7
CW: 204 (April '22)
GW #1: 185-190
Final GW: 145-155
