I started going to the gym and usually eat something small prior to my work out, like a banana or a slice of bread with PB.

But I wanna skip out on eating and have a beverage to bolster my energy and maximize my workout.

Any suggestions?

Preferably, nothing that tastes too nasty...

I use to use preworkout but it tastes too much like chemicals and I realized it’s not regulated so you have no idea what you are putting into your body. I now use the monster energy drinks when I need a boost. The white lighter one for a lighter boost and the regular one for a bigger boost.

I put organic bee pollen granules in about 6 ounces of juice when I get up and before I work out (and through out the day). I get it in packets. It doesn't taste too bad kind of earthy. But I hate eating anything before I work out especially if I'm doing yoga that day.

The brand I use is Greenbow

On another note, since I have been taking this along with manuka honey my menstrual cycle has gotten much better. It may be TMI but I like to put stuff out there just in case someone comes along and reads it and wants to try something to help them possibly.

I used to use a Pre-workout supplement. It came in a powder form and you add a scoop to water. It had a lot of caffeine in it and made my heart race too much and dehydrated me. Now, I time my meals 1.5 hours before my workout, or eat something with sugar in it (grapes, bananas, oranges). For long distance running, I use energy gu's and chews.

I drink Celcius on days im already energetic, or take Vega Sport pre workout. It has no artificial ingredients, and doesnt give me insomnia.

I use Cellulor C4 (Watermelon) and it definitely gets me through my workouts in the gym. Definitely helps with focus and gives a good amount of energy. The only downside is that by the time I get home to unwind I notice it takes me a while to fall asleep. lol

I used to use it but stopped because of how my schedule was I was needing to take a nap after my work outs and this was not allowing me to do so. I would stay up full of energy for hours.
