They are dark as well. WTF, just like Steph curry and Beyonce are both light skin, even though Beyonce is darker.

The problem is, in particulalty in the US with your 1 drop rule (which is nonsense btw).

You have made 'light skinned' interchangeable to 'mixed race'.

Those two are not the same, you can be a black person and have full black parents and be of lighter skin shade.
Whereas a mixed person is mixed of non-black which makes them other, they are not black so saying they are a light skin black does not apply.

You're telling BAs their history is nonsense, please don't. If you believe one thing and they don't how is that your business?

I'm exactly like Doja Cat/Lisa Bonet's color and growing up I wasn't even considered black .... I get so confused when people consider Beyonce,Rihanna,Halle Berry light skin I was like wtfff they're clearly brown lmao like they would never ever get confused of being another race but idk maybe I'm wrong

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, there are a lot of Black Americans who are not full Black themselves with facial features and hair textures, that are not the norm with folks stereotype as being "West African" features. Some Black folks with two Black parents look more MIXED than biracials. I have had family members who have been lighter with straighter hair, than those who were "biracial."

Yea you’re wrong, because you can be high yellow and have black features and everyone would still know yea you’re black like with albinos. But on the other hand you can look like Beyoncé color and have more lean euro features which suggests confusion. Color does not negate another race lol there are Indians , south Asians, Mexicans, darker than you but they are not confused with being black.

Is Rihanna light or medium? Is Halle light or medium? Next to Lisa Raye, these women seem medium to me but I thought they’ve always been considered light.

Theyre all light and would considered a redbone in these pics, just not the lightest because thats what a redbone is- a darker toned LS person. I guarantee none of these women would turn chocolate in the summer, yet all of them would lighten during the winter... so they definitely arent dark. Those pics represent what lighter races call Brown, though they arent considered brown within the black race.

Medium brown is when ppl say, "you arent that dark." I dont even think the palest person would say that to these women because theyre much lighter than an actual dark person that theyre being compared to. To me that cancels them out as being medium and dark. So, theyre light. Skin shade is determined by comparing your skin to others within your race. Most blk ppl arent as light as them

Beyoncé is just as light as Doja just not biracial. Now Rihanna and Halle, just like me, have a clear reddish brown tent. get darker in the summer and lighter during the winter. Medium tone. Brown skinned.

imo it varies according to:

region
country
ethnicity
age
online/offline
racial views (one drop)
gender (both of the person being classified and the person classifying)

The second girl is light brown, she is not medium. Many people would call her light skin. Notice how the second girl is a lot closer to the first girl Lisa Bonnet, than the last girl Naomi, that should tell you that she's light skin (light brown). A person who is medium is someone who is "equally" in between Lisa and Naomi, not closer to Lisa, like the second girl is.

You don't make sense, because your on LSA too, and you gave a different opinion from the so-called people you consider on LSA, in which again, you are on LSA yourself, so you don't make sense, lol. Your opinion doesn't speak for everyone, and that is what is in the real world, accept it. And if you forgot, everyone on LSA are real people with real opinions, just like you, we're not robots, thank you very much. So enough with the LSA stuff, when you are clearly on LSA yourself, learn some sense.

LSA is not real life, outside these women represent the average dark skin AA. Brown was always a category for women in the middle like Taraji, sanaa and Regina hall.
Well you're on LSA too, just like everyone else, and you think these women are dark, just like the outside people you speak of, so you clearly don't make sense. LSA is real life, because only real life people with real opinions can come on this site, just like you did. We're not robots, lol. Just because everyone doesn't have the same opinion as you, doesn't make LSA not real life, because again, I repeat, you are on LSA also, lol. Some of you have no logic. LSA is real life, coming from real life people, with real opinions, just like a autobiography is real, or some magazine stories are real, etc. Accept that.

Also I forgot to add, skin tones can look different due to lighting or seasons. In the colder months in lighter in the hotter months my skin is like darker.
That's true. I agree.
