Still obsessing over hair of babies, there are also videos of women putting bonnets on babies, in their crib. Why skin a baby like that when that’s perfectly normal, maybe a bit of oil but grown adults don’t put that much grease and oil on their heads. Let alone sulfur 8 for the grown adults That tight ponytail wasn’t helping either.

I don’t even know what to say. She is too young to be using such old school thinking of slapping a bunch of grease on a scalp (especially a baby’s scalp) will make it grow.

I don’t know why they only subject girls to this. Boys never have to have messy uncomfortable grease slapped all over their hair and scalp and their hair grows just fine.

then there’s this mom that wrapped tracks around her baby’s 2 puffs.

I've heard of this before. It's supposed to stimulate growth. Even grown women do this sometimes.

Some cultures do it for cleansing, others to promote growth. Yes, for toddlers.
That's foolishness (not for spiritual reasons of course). That dont even make no damn sense. Considering all that baby hair that their born with will fall out to reveal the true texture. Smh

The Mundan ceremony
The Thicker hair theory: Thicker hair

ETA: I didn't do this with my child...just increased Tummy time. Just noting that it's a thing.
