The Huda cancelled thing came from her never posting black women on her page. Whenever she did it was ridiculous comedic semi offensive videos of black women pulling faces, having torn up hair/really bad skin then putting on a wig. Very caricature and minstrel like.
It wasn't till her getting called out she started posting black women in a normal fashion.

This. Idk what they’re talking about some bakery. The drama with her was from IG. She’s a weirdo and a racist. I don’t understand the need to defend that when you can simply say “I don’t care, I’m still using her products” vs pretending the drama never happened. Like what is the point...grow up.

But anyway, her palettes are pretty. I have no use for them though as I rarely wear eyeshadow.

Well I can ONLY speak for myself when I say I’ve only HEARD these things, I’ve never SAW them for myself. I wasn’t following her on IG nor am I currently. When I went on her page I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. It wasn’t AS diverse as I would have liked to see but again alotta black women don’t buy her products so why pander???

As a grown adult I don’t go on HEARSAY, I go on CONCRETE FACTS with RECEIPTS and I’ve yet to see one. I’m not sure who u were referring to when u said “pretending like the drama never happened”. One more time for the folks in the back I’ve only HEARD things, never SAW them...

Finding a foundation match for my hard to match complexion is hard to give up. :) So I really hope that people are wrong about her.
They could be right but without RECEIPTS we won’t know! I have a hard to match complexion as well so I know the struggle.

Oh really? What can u recommend???

Not gonna lie to you because fragrance is such a personal thing. I would suggest that you get the trial size when Huda or Sephora puts it on sale for 50% off. It comes with four scents so you can try it individually or layer it to create a new scent. I personally like the Musk scent. Elixir is touch and go on me. But best worn at night in cooler months. Citrus is cute but generic. I don't like Vanilla because vanilla scents usually smells gross on me. I haven't tried the latest scent from he yet.

My aunt gifted me her baking powder and I really like it. That’s the only thing I’ve tried from her brand.

I hate hate hated the liquid foundation. It settled into every single damn nook and cranny on my face. It looked terrible.

The stick foundation I’m on the fence. Gonna try a full face later today

Their stick foundation formula was better. For some reason they never had my shade full on. The undertone was always off. I agree with the liquid formula setting into every pore, zit and crease on my face.

The original FauxFilter is hands down the best foundation I have ever used in terms of color match and coverage. I always get compliments on my skin when wearing it. Unfortunately, both Juvia’s and Fenty broke me out badly and made my skin extremely oily after a short time.

I’m not giving up Huda Beauty any time soon.
